IAPTus is the market leading system for IAPT patient case management and reporting. But IAPTus is far more than just an IAPT system. It offers the possibility for health care providers to collaborate, providing different services across the community. If you are providing a service where NHS staff, charities and other third sector organisations are all working together, IAPTus can combine them all under one roof.

Version 2 also allows other services to be run alongside IAPT services.

IAPTus enables safe and secure access to patient data from any Internet connection (open internet or NHS N3) through the use of two factor authentication.

 

Care pathway

IAPTus is unique among patient management systems in allowing each service to design their own care pathway for their service. By creating custom care pathways a whole world of possibilities for service delivery and monitoring becomes available. In addition, having the care record built around your care pathway enables your staff to deliver consistent care at every step of the patient’s journey.

Monitoring service user trends is simple in IAPTus. Questions such as…

  • How long is the average waiting list for each treatment type?
  • What is the spread of referral to treatment time?
  • What is the historic typical destination for patients in a particular stage?

…are easy to answer with a custom care pathway.

 

Version 2

IAPTus Version 2 offers a level of customization and flexibility not seen before in patient management systems. IAPTus moulds to you and your IAPT service, and allows you to customise care pathways, contact forms, assessment forms, your alerts and reports…in fact there is very little that you ‘can’t have your way’ in IAPTus version 2.

Labels

Labels are one of the major new features in IAPTus version 2. They are a very flexible way of adding visual markers to patients or referrals. In addition, they allow users to search and group by those labels, and to perform analyses using the labels as filters.

One of the first things you’ll want to do is set up a new user. IAPTus makes it very easy to add new users and manage your existing ones. For each user you can manage their details and quickly and simply set up their permissions and privileges. Slot them into a user group or give them unique access rights, the choice is yours.

One patient, multiple treatments

IAPTus understands that patients may come back for treatment a number of times. It also knows that you may want to offer different treatments in parallel, and that those different forms of treatment are probably offered by different teams of care workers. All options are straight forward and highly visible for all users of IAPTus.

Episodes

The custom care pathway you design will allow separate branches for as many different services as you like, each with a level of visibility for each service that you prescribe. So if you want to provide IAPT support, employment services, primary mental health services, debt advice, holistic therapy, drugs and alcohol services all under one system, then IAPTus can provide that capability.

Automatic alerts for PHQ / GAD and ‘Serial DNA’

IAPTus alerts therapists to patient risk levels automatically, and many more automatic alerts can be added and customised by system users as the need arises. Automatic alerts allow all users to quickly identify groups of patients for purposes such as supervision sessions, referring on to specialist services, or stepping up to higher intensity of care.

Diary

The diary features in IAPTus are just one more tool which allow you to work more effectively as a team. The diary allows you to book appointments and search for free slots across your team. The diary is displayed in a familiar month, week and agenda view. AlertsNot only can you book appointments and create re-occurring sessions, but IAPTus allows non-patient activities to be recorded such as supervision or training.

Built in SMS patient reminders

We know that it’s not easy keeping on top of waiting lists in a busy service, so IAPTus is designed to help you manage waiting times as simply as possible.

Not only have we made reporting of waiting times easy, IAPTus provides you with tools to help reduce them such as SMS appointment reminders.  Simply book an appointment into the diary and the patient will automatically receive a reminder via SMS a day or two before the appointment depending on what you specify – it really is that simple.

Letter editor

The ability to create and manage letter templates, and automatically mail merge to standard letters, is built into IAPTus with all the features you’d expect.

The most comprehensive and flexible reporting system in its class is built in as standard to IAPTus for all our clients. The IAPTus hypercube is completely customizable and able to quickly create multi-level grouped reports without the need to resort to using outside programs such as SPSS or Microsoft Excel. Should the need ever arise, all reports in IAPTus can be exported as .csv files for transfer to other programs.

IAPTus makes it easy to create groups of patients for you to manage and action. Data warehousing

IAPTus now allows direct connections to the underlying system database. This secure connection via ODBC allows data to be extracted on a monthly, weekly or even daily basis into your own data warehouse. Many of our clients wish to combine data from IAPTus with other patient management systems into a data warehouse. Through use of the ODBC connections these extracts can be automated and run as frequently as you wish.

Migrating data

We have considerable experience taking data from all kinds of sources and importing it into IAPTus. We have invested in custom import tools, so we can offer an import service second to none in terms of speed, accuracy and flexibility.

So if you are thinking of moving from a home grown system, PC-MIS, TPP SystmOne (or anything else for that matter) then you can be confident that we’ve done it before, and we can do it again for you quickly and accurately.

 

Website hosting and support

Hosting and SupportWe run our own dedicated high-speed database and application servers protected by state of the art security. Our firewalls and intrusion detection devices are built to the standard used by the NHS, and we have a variety of options for encrypting traffic to the sites as required. Our server network is expanding all the time.  The internet bandwidth is optimized to ensure that no bottlenecks occur when there is potential for congestion. To date all of our websites have been available with in excess of 99.9% uptime. Our standard support includes ensuring that the data is backed up regularly, and there is access to both online and telephone helpdesks should any problems arise.
